HOIDERA Members were glad to celebrate Holy Eucharistic Mass at their new premises in Gayaza. The mass was led by Father Baguma in the company of Father Phillip Balikuddembe and Father Businge Agaptus. This Holy Mass marked a remarkable journey that HOIDERA has started to build and improve the structures in the new premises in order to strengthen the recognition of our Association.
The congregation was engaged through the Gospel sermon which was centered on the aspect of sharing and strengthening ties with each other. Father Businge Agaptus focused on being together as a community for the well being of HOIDERA as he emphasized how far they had come in terms of moving to a new location and contributing to the sustainance of HOIDERA all through the years. He urged members of the congregation to continue loving the church and praying for his Holiness Pope Francis who recently visited the country. During the sermon Father Phillip prayed for Rev. Vincent Kirabo, Hoima’s new Bishop and asked the congregation to include him in their daily prayers.
The Mass celebration also involved blessing of the new holy ground by Father Agaptus. He led the congregation through the acres of space the land is based on and called for God’s protection and care over the land.
