Bishop Vicent Kirabo upon announcement from Rome took his first trip to Bujumbura Cathedral in Hoima Diocese and was escorted by the HOIDERA team from Kampala. The Bishop elect then was received by jubilant flock in Hoima District as they longed for this blessing they had truly received.
The people of Hoima were truly happy to have a leader of the flock in their midst and as his name ‘Kirabo’ states, he was truly a gift from God to the Diocese of Hoima. Bishop Vicent Kirabo brings a new dawn of freshness and hope to the Diocese of Hoima since the passing on of the late Bishop Deogratius Byabazaire who was laid to rest on Feberuary 14th 2014.
Bishop Kirabo led through a procession to Bujumbura Cathedral where there was Holy Eucharistic mass followed by meditation.
