Palm Sunday Mass on 20/3/2016 was celebrated at Kolping Hotel, Bwaise with a large celebrated turn up of members. Mass was held at the hotel with members coming in early to commemorate the welcome of a new Bishop and celebrate Palm Sunday as an association. We were blessed with the presence of Bishop Edward Baharagate and other clergy who joined us in this Eucharistic celebration.
Mass was in full attendence by HOIDERA members from all over Kampala with members from visiting Dioceses and wellwishers present too. It was amoment of refelection and unity that brought all of us together as a family to thank God for what he has blessed the Diocese of Hoima with.
Mass was celebrated in humility and was later followed up with acknowledgements from HOIDERA executives and all those who participated in the arrangement of the Bishop Vincent Kirabo’s ordination in Hoima. HOIDERA President Mr Tadeo Atuhuru introduced new members of HOIDERA to the congregation present and outlinedthe executive members and the plans they have set up to complete the new remises in Gayaza.
Mr. Kiiza Aliba the Chairman of the overall preparations of Bishop Kirabo’s ordination gave remarks on how the preparation and function went and also gave his sincere appreciations to members who contributed for the just cause.
It was an eventful day together as HOIDERA family and promise to have more of these spiritual uniting gatherings
